Amber has spent her career as an educator striving to create high-quality curriculum accessible to all students. Over the past 10 years, she has created an original, hands-on and literacy-based science curriculum; launched a Sixth Grade Science Collaboration Team to help teachers from other schools create high-quality curricula; and served as a leader in the creation of curriculum correlated to the Common Core standards. Amber has driven teachers’ instructional practice, devising and facilitating numerous professional developments, and coaching and training novice teachers. She holds Masters degrees in Curriculum and Instruction, with a concentration in Elementary Education, and in Administrative Leadership. As the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Achieve Now, Amber has created our high-quality, differentiated digital curriculum and in the future hopes to increase the instructional capacity of educators to improve the educational outcomes for students served by Achieve Now.
