Karen Beerer

Karen has more than 35 years of experience in education, with roles including second grade teacher, reading specialist, Principal, and Supervisor of Curriculum and Professional Development.. In her current position, Karen works with school systems around the country to provide dynamic professional learning to support the growth of teachers in a variety of areas including innovative practices, equity, STEM, and effective digital instruction. 

In her previous position, as Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment in the Boyertown Area School District, Karen had the opportunity to work with different boards, an experience that shed light on how boards work and sparked her interest in board service. At Achieve Now, Karen will pursue a decades-long commitment to providing all children the support, resources, instruction and the motivation to ensure they achieve grade level reading. All children can learn to read!
