Katie has over a decade of experience working with youth in classroom settings and educational programming. Throughout her career, Katie has focused her work on creating equitable educational opportunities that provide culturally informed and engaging curricula. She has taught many subjects, consistently aiming to grow her students' confidence, increase social awareness and develop an appreciation for learning.

Katie holds a B.A. in Music and B.S. in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. She is delighted to be a part of Achieve Now and empower young readers across Philadelphia as a Reading Specialist.
