Kiara Hernandez

Manager of External Investments
Camden Education Fund

Kiara has long worked to improve students’ educational outcomes. As the Manager of External Investments at the Camden Education Fund, she serves as project manager and primary point of contact for schools, partner organizations, and other programs across various initiatives. To that, she brings experience as a preschool teacher, operations manager stints at KIPP Philadelphia and DC Prep, and, most recently, as the Development Coordinator at Elevate 215 where, among other things, she supported the execution of their annual fundraising strategy.

As a strong believer that all children deserve a high-quality education and that literacy is foundational in dismantling systemic inequities, Kiara is thrilled to join Achieve Now’s board. She also serves as a board member of the Ade Hogue Foundation, which supports the BIPOC community and underprivileged youth who are interested in the creative arts.
